RECOGNISING CONSENT AND CHOICE

Recognising Consent and Choice (RCC) is a project which has been designed to deliver short courses on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and the law; develop a compendium of resource materials on SRHR and the law; organise a workshop on ‘writing stories’; advocacy and awareness activities in the form of expert consultations and dialogues at universities; documentary competition and organisation of a film exhibition to generate greater sensitisation; and discussions on the issues of consent and choice within the context of SRHR in Bangladesh.

RCC is a joint initiative of the Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust (BLAST) and the Centre of Excellence for Gender and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights at the James P Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University. This project is supported by RFSU, the Swedish Association for Sexuality Education.
