Creating UHC momentum in Bangladesh: the challenges and opportunities

Overview
The Centre for Universal Health Coverage is currently conducting a study on “Creating UHC momentum in Bangladesh: the challenges and opportunities” in collaboration with the Rockefeller Foundation (RF). The purpose of this study is to assess the contribution of RF’s portfolio towards creating UHC momentum in Bangladesh which could be useful and insightful in taking forward the UHC initiatives to a broader level. A review of reports submitted by the grantees, and coverage of UHC related issues in the print and virtual media have been conducted, as well as in-depth interviews with principal investigators of RF funded projects.

A workshop was convened to bring the UHC grantees together so that they could share their experiences related to their particular projects and learning to inform the grantees as well as the principal investigators of the UHC momentum study to guide the development of future programmes in this area.
